1980s "Ham & Eggs Society" memorabilia. The "Ham & Eggs Society" consisted of people chosen for their contributions and dedication to the success of STS-1. Consists of two color photos of the first meeting of the group, one is 9¼"x6¼" affixed to 11"x14" "Ham & Eggs Society" page and the other is a later print (9"x8") of same image. Also includes a rare "Ham & Eggs Society" members badge, serial #30, laminated to roughly 4"x2½" size. We don't recall seeing Society items before.

1982-2001 Shuttle Mission History Folders. Interesting group of about 85 different mission history reports from Flight Integration Office, Operations Office and others. Almost all are mission specific between STS-4 and STS-135. All are printed on folded three piece, two sided, cards (3.5x5") giving time lines and other technical information on the mission. Unusual and compact method for having detailed reference to many STS missions. Also present are a few small shuttle booklets of other types.

1990s-2000s Shuttle program IBM Think Pads (x2). Two Think Pads. Includes IBM Think Pad 760 XD and GSE (Ground Support Equipment) IBM Think Pad 760 XD. The former 760 XD is a flight labtop part #SDZ39129262-301 s/n 6002 with original NASA cost of $4265 and were flown on Space Shuttle & ISS and designed to be used with Shuttle's 28 volt power source. The GSE labtop has part #s/n 78-BFDW3 98/08 and were used for engineering purposes by contractors and others with payload requiring software loaded on labtops. GSE labtops are not configured for space & operate on 120 volt A/C. Original NASA cost for GSE was $845. No hard drives, software, floppy or CD drives, power cords or batteries included. COA for both included. Shipping weight is about 10 lbs.

Includes Space Hab armband (P/N SE646118161-327 S/N 1014), rear suppost gusset (#9063451-502 with tag marked as flight item), padded insulation (two pieces) with velcro (both P/N SHI-SSSSS-D5500-703), 10 various small parts (some with Material Acceptance tags), 9¼"x11½"x7½" red metal work platform (# 9062024-502) and lastly, 16"x10"x16" experimental locker battery assembly used as power supply with handles for carrying whose flight status is unknown. 1980s Shuttle mission control-console back-lit displays. Group of 14 back-lit displays used on the Flight Dynamics Officer's console. Two of these say STS-1 on the slide. They were also used for later missions. The lights monitored key events on-board the spacecraft and monitored computer processing activity by the Mission Operation Computer (MOC) for other events or possible contingencies. Examples of such events include Space Shuttle Main Engine status for out events that could determine Abort Mode availability, Abort modes & executions of these such as Return-to-Launch Site (RTLS) and other processes. Includes Flight Dynamics Officer COA and interesting back-up material on displays specific uses.

1970s Shuttle wing leading edge radiant heating test hardware. Fascinating offering that includes two prototype moving electrodes, the original drawings for the hardware as designed by the consignor, a sample of the graphite material used for heater strips and additional collateral that includes Discovery magazine with article germain to this testing. Hardware was used to "…perform thermal/vacuum certification tests on a full-size section of the Shuttle wing leading edge…." Important testing of Shuttle tiles. The consignor's design as depicted in drawings reflect the changes that needed to be made to get hardware to work succesfully. One of the electrodes is soldered the other is not so it can be taken apart for examination. Electrode pieces with overall max size 5"x9¼"x¾" and graphite piece is ¾"x3/8"x8¼". Detailed consignor COA included.

1982 STS-3 Flight Dynamics Officer's ascent & abort cue card & more. Two page two sided personal Flight Dynamics Officer's cue card (9½"x15") was used in Houston's Mission Control Center during STS-3 simulations and to call out real-time Shuttle Abort Mode capabilities during ascent. This is the unique hand constructed cue card supporting STS-3 ascent. Abort Modes are annotated along with technical reference material necessary to conduct a successful flight. Data depicted is based on Columbia vehicle's performance characteristics for STS-3. Notations on front in red supplies the ascent and abort modes whereas on the back they refer to Return-to Landing Site (RTLS). Also includes three working documents: STS-2 Flight Rules and STS-9 Flight Ascent Checklist & Operational Flight Profile. Flight Dynamics Officer COA for cue card.

1982 STS-3 Flight Dynamics Officer's Cue Card. This two page, two sided, cue card (9.5x15") was used in mission control center during STS-3 simulation and real-time mission. Contains general in-orbit notes and deorbit prep to be used for early termination of mission or scheduled deorbit. This card played a significant role in MCC launching, monitoring and "working" each shuttle mission. They contain invaluable information for a successful flight. We have never seen Cue Cards used in MCC offered previously. Unique.
